My Summer Violin Masterclass in Pučišća, Brač Island (July 11–20, 2025)

I am delighted to invite you to my violin masterclass this summer in the breathtaking town of Pučišća on the island of Brač, Croatia! From July 11th to 20th, I will be teaching as part of the 30th-anniversary edition of the International Summer Music School, one of Croatia’s longest-running and most esteemed music courses.

Kai, the boy with the violin

One heartwarming memory from the May period last year…a family from England contacted me upon hearing some of the performances on my YouTube channel and looking me up online. They decided to come to Croatia with their talented son Kai so that he could study violin intensively with me for a couple of weeks…what an honor… especially in today’s day and age, with many online teaching platforms and many great resources available on the internet. Apart from music and work, it was a chance to have fun and acquire new experiences while taking in some of the beauty of Croatia! It made me feel so grateful, and it has been such a lovely time with wonderful people I’ll always dearly remember!

New recording – Schindler’s List Theme

My recently released performance of a beloved theme by John Williams, featured in Spielberg’s film and originally written for and performed by Itzhak Perlman.

This recording was made in June last year in the church of Mary’s Assumption in Labin, Croatia with pianist Matej Jovanovic.

Sergey Rachmaninoff: Vocalise (live)

Recorded at a recital in the church of St. Agnes, Medulin with Melita Lasek Satterwhite on the piano. It was a truly memorable experience, with a beautiful church, and wonderful acoustics. Medulin concert was also a season’s closing, and we performed a music program titled Mirrors of Love, featuring two romantic pieces by each composer – Debussy, Chopin, Elgar, Sarasate and Rachmaninoff.
